Community Meeting, March Minutes

Hey Neighbors,  Big thanks to everyone who contributed your thoughts/suggestions/feedback during the March 11 Open Forum. Announcements

  • Upcoming: Tuesday, March 19, 5-9p: Verde supports PPNA with Proceeds (Verde, 641 S Montford Ave, Baltimore, MD 21224)

  • Upcoming: Wednesday, April 17, 11a-10p: On the Border supports PPNA with Proceeds (On the Border, 3803 Boston St, Baltimore, MD 21224)

  • Membership: Become a voting member at just $10 annually for an Individual. Learn more about membership options.

  • Beautification Committee: Congratulations on securing grants for approved lighting projects on the Unit block and 100 block of N Streeper!

  • Safety Committee: Identified Sector Safety Captains and lobbying the Mayor's office for security camera rebate program

  • Transportation/Greening: ROW artwork installing coming, stencil designs within the flex posts at the corner of E Baltimore St. and Linwood Ave. 


Community All Star

  • Nigel Louis! Thanks for your instrumental role in coordinating with neighbors and the Beautification Committee, writing the application, and securing funding for string lights on N Streeper from the BMore Beautiful 'Love Your Block' grant.

  • SECDC can support in arranging projects, securing funding, or offering loans. 

  • In partnership with Healthy Neighborhoods, SECDC supports Block Projects, Home Purchase Loans, and Home Improvement Loans.

Open Forum

  • An opportunity to gather ideas from our neighbors about how PPNA can support the community 

  • Community Meetings allow space to get connected, meet face-to-face with neighbors, identify opportunities, share information. 

  • Invite your neighbors to join us in person!

  • Engaging on social media is a great way to get started, and let's also meet each other IRL!
