GET TO KNOW YOUR NEIGHBORS

Do you know the neighbors on your block? Our neighbors enjoy connecting through block parties, sitting on their stoop ("stooping"), door knocking, and Facebook groups. Neighbors recognize each other by their dogs, their frequent package deliveries, or their cars. Neighbors care about each other and look out for one another. Take a look at our Sector Map to meet other neighbors in your Sector:

ATTEND A COMMUNITY MEETING

Community Meetings are hosted on:

  • Date: Second Monday of every month

  • Time: 6:30pm

  • For Virtual Community meetings, Zoom meetings start at 6:30pm.

  • For In-person Community meetings, come to the basement of the library at 158 N. Linwood. You are welcome to come early, and there are usually also snacks provided.

Community Meetings are effective, engaging, and focused on the needs of neighbors. If you have feedback on how the PPNA, the neighborhood, or the city can improve, we want to hear it. Contact info@pattersonparkneighbors.org

GIVE OF YOUR TIME OR VOLUNTEER ON A COMMITTEE

PPNA is an all-volunteer organization that is neighbor-organized and neighbor-led. All PPNA projects and committees started as ideas from neighbors just like you! Connect with active PPNA Committees to see how you can contribute to ongoing efforts in our neighborhood, or, start a new one! PPNA welcomes fresh ideas and project-based committees.

PLAN A PROJECT

PPNA sponsors many projects throughout the neighborhood. Each project is lead by a passionate neighbor who is committed to making our neighborhood a better place to live, work, and play. Examples include:

  • Patterson Park Neighborhood metal signage

  • Community Dumpsters

  • Block-by-block String Lighting

  • Bloom Your Block Happy Hours

  • PPNA Pop-Up Food Pantries

  • ...and many more!

If you have an idea about a project or grant requiring a fiscal sponsor, click here to learn more about the process for PPNA fiscal sponsorship. Click here to view a list of grant opportunities.

MAKE A FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION

PPNA is a donation-based organization. Your financial contribution supports ongoing costs and expenses for the neighborhood association and neighborhood projects, such as: website maintenance, storage unit and greening supplies, contractors, swag, marketing, and much more. Your donation allows PPNA to continue supporting novel ideas and projects throughout our neighborhood.

Many neighbors choose to give an annual donation in the amount of your choice. Give what you can; we welcome your involvement and your support!

SERVE IN PPNA LEADERSHIP

The PPNA Board, Committee Chairs, and project leads are actively engaged neighbors who volunteer their time to run meetings, organize initiatives, and plan events and projects for PPNA. PPNA is all-volunteer. PPNA is always open to supporting you with new projects and ideas, or forming and participating in committees. Board Members are selected through annual elections. We welcome new ideas and feedback, and we are always looking for ways that you can be more involved with these collaborative efforts. Contact info@pattersonparkneighbors.org to start the conversation.
