How-To Guide for November Voting

Delegate Brooke Lierman's office (http://www.brookelierman.com/) compiled this easy-to-use How-To Guide for the November election. There will be a Virtual Info Session with Del. Lierman on October 6 at 5:30pm.

Important Tips:

10/13 Deadline to register to vote
10/20 Last day to request a mail-in ballot
Fill out ballot with BLACK ink
Must SIGN ballot for it to count
No need to add a stamp!
Drop boxes will be monitored by BPD (locations TBD)
Check the Board of Elections website to see if your ballot was received
10/26-11/2: In-person voting, 80 centers statewide (locations TBD)
11/3 Election Day, 350 centers statewide drop boxes will be closed at 8 pm!
Precautions: Masks inside, social distancing, limited number of people inside
Vote early to decrease delays!

Returning your Ballot

First Class Mail – U.S. Post Office
We are urging all Marylanders to return their ballots as soon as possible due to backlogs at the U.S. Postal Service. Your ballot comes with a postage-paid return envelope, so submitting your ballot by mail is free. Your ballot must be postmarked on or before November 3. Putting your ballot in a mailbox on November 3 does not mean it is postmarked.

Drop Box Locations
Marylanders can use a ballot drop box to return their mail-in ballot. At least 200 drop box locations will be available statewide. Ballot drop boxes will be open until 8 pm on November 3. The list of drop box locations will be posted here when the locations are finalized:
