Reporting Crime
Please remember that the Safety Committee is here to help you deal with any ongoing criminal activity near your house. If you are experiencing a problem, please take the following steps:
- Call 311 to report ongoing problems;
- Call 911 to report crimes-in-progress;
- Call 410-666-DRUG to report drug activity;
- Call 410-637-8848 to report graffiti;
- Turn in a Citizen Complaint form to the police (these forms can be found at http://www.sepcrc.org/reportcrime.html); and
- Report the issue to PPNA by emailing safety@pattersonparkneighbors.org or calling 410-276-5215.
If you are concerned about anonymity, you can sign up to receive a Crime Watch Number that you can provide to the 911 dispatcher, instead of your name, when reporting crimes in progress. You may also want to attend one of community outreach meetings that occur at the Southeast Police District on the first Monday of every month, from 7-9:00 p.m. A Safety Committee representative will be in attendance and can introduce you to a Police Officer who will address your concerns.
