Should Patterson Park Have Mobile Surveillance Cameras Installed?
The Southeast Police District has asked community leaders in our area to recommend locations that might benefit from the installation of MOBILE SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS. We understand that surveillance cameras are a controversial topic, and therefore want to hear from as many Patterson Park residents as possible before deciding whether to request a camera in our neighborhood. If you have an opinion on this topic, please let us know by emailing safety@pattersonparkneighbors.org, or calling 410-276-5215. If you are in favor of a camera, please indicate where you would like to see it installed.
The Southeast Police District Needs Your Help
The Southeast Police District is also asking residents to provide them with the addresses of houses where illegal mopeds and dirt bikes are being stored. The following information is needed:
- Address(s) of where dirt bikes are seen either in a person's yard or parked outside home or business.
- If you see them driven on a regular basis in various areas, please provide the approximate time(s) and location (s).
- Although, the police continue to follow a policy not to pursue a person who is seen riding on a dirt bike, it would help greatly if they know the location of where they are seen so alternate methods can be applied. Dirt bikes can be confiscated because they are illegal to drive in Baltimore City.
The Southeast Police District's Tip for Residents
Beware of fraudulent tool sales etc, due to the reconstruction and renovations occurring in the area!
